The Farmers’ Markets Association of Manitoba Co-op Inc. is a cooperative of farmers and producers that work harmoniously to promote the success, development and benefits of farmers’ markets for vendors, consumers and their local communities.
MISSION
To be a progressive voice connecting member markets, partners and Manitoba Communities to further the sustainable growth of Farmers Markets and local economies.
OBJECTIVES
- Provide advocacy,education,networking and training for the betterment of our membership.
- Become a financial resource to new and existing farmers’ markets.
- Be a respected,visible and diplomatic provincial association.
- Have our organization recognized as the voice of farmers’ markets across Manitoba.
- Be financially stable with the ability to carry out research and development initiatives to benefit our membership.
- Be a professionally run organization that promotes the successes of the Manitoba Farmers’ Market movement.
- Establish Farmers’ Markets as a viable local, healthy and secure component of the food distribution system in Manitoba.
