Does FMAM have a member market liability insurance program?

Yes, we do. This is another benefit of being a Direct Farm Manitoba member market. The liability insurance premium  is $125/market and covers the market for $5,000,000 liability. Insurance must be paid by May 1st each year for coverage of May to May.

Ours is such a small market, will it be worth it for us?

YES! We understand very much that markets vary in size and aim to tailor memberships to address this issue. We also understand that different markets have different needs. The issues of a big market close to Winnipeg differ than those in a small town with a limited population. One of the primary aims of the Association is to be as inclusive as possible, respecting the wide range of markets we are lucky to have in Manitoba. Our projects will reflect this.

We don’t live near Winnipeg and provincial organizations seem to always have their meetings there.

Do we ever understand this common problem! Our AGMs move to different locations each year to accommodate as many as possible.

When’s the Annual General Meeting?

Our AGMs are held in conjunction with the Direct Farm Marketing Conference to allow for educational and networking opportunities for new and existing members. Contact us for more information if you are interested in attending and are not an Direct Farm Manitoba member.
